HXI has provided a number of customers with components in the 76 to 81 GHz range in support of the development and testing of automotive IC’s and modules. Among these components are integrated mixer/multipliers, LNA’s, power amplifiers and isolators. Both WR12 and WR-10 waveguide sizes are supported.
The integrated mixer/multiplier modules exhibit the same low conversion loss as our standalone HBM12 mixers and incorporate the same multiplier circuits as our standalone active frequency multipliers. The result is the same great conversion loss and flatness with the added benefits of smaller size and a lower price than buying two separate components.
For use in radar applications, including military land, airborne and naval radars, Renaissance offers this 9.0 – 10.3 GHz X-band coaxial isolator. It provides solid system
fidelity through low insertion loss and easy installation with its compact size.
For use in satellite navigation, telecom and aircraft surveillance, Renaissance has designed this L-band drop-in isolator. Operating at 1.1 – 1.6 GHz and the 1W of Power
CW, this isolator has high isolation and low insertion loss in a compact footprint.

HXI’s HFBI series of full band Faraday-type isolators are available from WR-28
through WR-10 waveguide sizes (26.5 to 110 GHz). These isolators provide
superior isolation over a very wide band, which is their advantage over junctiontype
isolators, making them desirable for test instrumentation applications.
HXI’s quality waveguide and flanges used in the isolators provide precision
connections between subsystem components with little impact on signal level
and inter-component match.

For use in satellite communication applications like GPS and personal radio services, Renaissance has designed a 700 MHz to 1 GHz coaxial circulator. This circulator features
high isolation and low insertion loss in a compact footprint.
Renaissance has developed an 8 x 12 solid-state Switch Matrix. This matrix is controlled by a keypad and/or Ethernet, and has its own TCP/IP. In addition to custom programming, we also incorporated new design disciplines that reduced the cabling with printed circuit solutions.
