2.0 – 5.0 GHz Drop-In Isolator, S-band
For S-band medium power amplifiers Renaissance has designed a compact isolator that operates from 2 to 5 GHz in a single package. The isolator can handle 10W forward and 5W reverse and has a footprint of just 1” x 1”.
Balanced Upconverters, Series HBUC
HXI’s HBUC series broadband balanced upconverters cover a wide range of waveguide
bands from 26.5 -110 GHz. They utilize a low loss structure mated to a matched pair of GaAs Schottky beam lead diodes for minimum conversion loss and maximum bandwidth. Superior LO noise suppression and LO -RF isolation values are design features.
Upconverters are used to create a millimeter wave signal by combining a lower IF frequency with a higher MMW LO frequency. Dual signals, or double sidebands are produced in this way: LO ± IF (DSB). Optional filters are offered to suppress the unwanted sideband and produce a single sideband (SSB) upconverter. Biased versions
are available for lower LO drive levels.
21 – 22 GHz Coaxial Isolator, K-band
Looking for a Ka-band isolator for the satellite-on-the move communication systems to enable high-data-rate applications in both the military and commercial sectors?
Renaissance’s 2A9BCG-ROHS is the ideal component that has successfully passed all the necessary qualification requirements.
Balanced Mixers, Series HBM
HXI’s HBM series of broadband balanced mixers covers the waveguide bands from 26.5–
110 GHz. They utilize a low loss structure mated to a matched pair of GaAs Schottky beam lead diodes for minimum conversion loss and maximum bandwidth. Superior LO noise suppression and LO-RF isolation values are inherent design features.
Biased versions are available for use with lower LO drive levels. Related components also available from HXI include LO frequency multipliers and Gunn oscillators/VCOs. An upconverter version of this mixer is available as series HBUC. (These mixers are not reciprocal and cannot operate as upconverters.)
8 – 14 GHz Coaxial Circulator, X-band
For test and measurement applications, Renaissance has designed a wide band, dual junction circulator that operates from 8 to 14 GHz in a compact 1.05” x 0.56” x 0.5” size.
Planar Detector, 110 – 170 GHz
HXI’s HFD Series of detectors employs zero biased beamlead Schottky-barrier diodes. Full waveguide band operation is achieved with good sensitivity in a compact unit. HFD units are offered between 18 and 170 GHz. The units are fixed tuned and operate without bias, making them particularly convenient to use. Applications are as sensors for network analyzers and as low cost replacements for power heads.
30 – 31 GHz Coaxial Isolator, Ka band
For SATCOM on-the-Move (SOTM) terminals, Renaissance has designed a compact low loss isolator with K-connectors to support the bandwidth requirement of 30 to 31 GHz. The power handling on this model is 10 W forward and 1 W reverse but this package can be customized for up to 50 W forward and 10 W reverse.
9.5 – 11.5 GHz Surface Mount Isolator, X-band
For radar, satellite and wireless computer applications, Renaissance has designed an X-band, high power surface mount isolator. Operating at a frequency range of 9.5 – 11.5 GHz, this isolator can be used in civilian, military and government applications, with its high reliability and performance levels.
7.1 – 7.9 GHz / 7.7 – 8.6 GHz Coaxial Isolator, C-band
Renaissance’s new C-band coaxial isolators, operating in the 7.1 – 7.9 GHz and 7.7 – 8.6
GHz frequency ranges, is ideal for radar test applications. With 0.4 dB loss and 20 dB
isolation, this isolator ensures consistent system fidelity.
